Controller and contact

Local media
Teledisk Media indexes photos, videos and folders through Android MediaStore, and documents only after a Storage Access Framework choice. The catalogue, thumbnails, cache and space-saving statistics remain in the app sandbox.
Telegram cloud
Cloud mode sends only items selected by your rules through TDLib to your own Saved Messages. Captions contain file name, original path, device name/ID, size, type, SHA-256, albums and multipart data. Media files are not stored on Teledisk servers.
Account, licence and security
Telegram handles phone, login code and 2FA password through TDLib. If cloud features are selected and no Teledisk account exists, after your explicit acceptance the app automatically registers the authenticated Telegram ID/phone and activates one free one-month Beta Tester licence. Teledisk also receives package net.teledisk.media, app version/build integrity, Android version and device model for access control and abuse prevention. Licence and registration identity fields are encrypted with the Teledisk public key; the integrity request is protected by HTTPS and returns a short-lived signed registration grant. Reinstalling does not restart a trial.
Google Play review access
The reviewer-only flow uses a reusable reviewer ID/PIN and a short-lived, single-use Telegram QR login token. The PIN is verified as a one-way hash; the token is approved by an isolated server session and is not retained after use. This flow is unavailable to ordinary users and does not grant reviewers access to any personal user account.
Permissions and background work
Broad photo/video access is needed because the primary purpose is a complete gallery, albums, search and continuous backup. Documents use SAF; there is no all-files permission. Automatic backup uses constrained WorkManager. A visible dataSync foreground service is used only for a manual backup started by the user.
Retention and deletion
Local data remains until cache clearing, Android app-data deletion or uninstall. Saved Messages remain under your Telegram control. Request Teledisk data deletion from the dedicated deletion page or privacy@teledisk.net.
Rights and changes
Where GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object, and complain to a competent authority. Material changes are versioned and may require renewed acknowledgement.
